New application for garden collection database management called Botanic Garden Information System (BGIS) and Bogor Botanic Garden Website has been launch on the 190 th inauguration of this garden on May, 18 2008. Botanic Garden Information System (BGIS) is an application system developed for living collection management tool of individual plant specimen data records, include specimen source, collector, scientific name, ethnobotanical data and observation of individual plant collection and garden map of planting site position coordinate in the garden. By the MapView, all of the exploration activities, collection distribution both in the garden and detail location of specimen source can be monitor easily. The website is consist of information about this garden mission, vision, function, their facilities inside the garden and also the list of plant collection cultivated and maintain in the garden.
